Client Testimonials

"The City of Evart has utilized Manning Design for several projects in the city.  The city appreciates the service from Marlies and the high quality designs that are her trademark.  Marlies has also been involved with the landscape design of two other projects in Evart for a corporate client which reflect a high level of service along with quality design."

Roger Elkins, (retired) Evart City Manager

"Marlies Manning does an excellent job of engaging the public and the municipal officials.  Marlies has a very comfortable approach that allows for greater input from the participants.  Our project was greatly enhanced by the amount of feedback we received from the public.  We had a greater buy in as well.  Marlies did a great job for us and we have a noteworthy project that we are moving forward on.  We truly gained a great deal by having Marlies assist us in our Project."

Michael Uskiewicz, (former) Port Huron Township Manager

"My shady gardens are an architectural extension of my home.  Arching trees, flowering shrubs, lacy ferns and grassy path with an arbor lead to solitude and privacey.  I am content on hot summer days with a frosty glass oflemonaged, a comfy chair and a book.  Marlies made this possible."

Mary K. Hively, Big Rapids, MI

"We had some rough ideas for improving our front entry, but came to a stand-still.  We made an appointment with Marlies and before I was even finished explaining our plans she was already drawing out configurations, plantings, and hardscape details we never would have come up with.  I highly recommend her to any and everyone who needs a little nudge and encouragement with making their property the best they can."
